The GATE (Gifted And Talented Education) program at our school organized a field trip for the kids to the Apple Store in Santa Monica.

After a brief introduction, the fun staff at the Apple Store walked the kids through making a movie trailer, the project of the day. With their personal memory sticks in hand, and cool new t-shirts on, the kids were ready to make a movie trailer, starring themselves!
After the first field trip to the Apple Store, my 10-year old was obsessed with making power point presentations. What a interesting and creative way for kids to put together information they are excited about! And integrate technology into their lives. Looks like we’ll have some major movie trailer action in our house the next few weeks!
Good one GATE and Apple Store!
